Get data related to Infant, Child and Maternal Deaths in Sikkim.Infant mortality rate (IMR) is the number of deaths of infants under one year old per 1,000 live births. Child Mortality is under-five mortality rate and denotes the probability per 1,000 that a newborn baby will die before reaching age five. Child mortality is also known as under-5 mortality or child death. Maternal Mortality Rate is defined as the number of maternal deaths to women in the ages 15-49 per lakh of women in that age group. Maternal Mortality Ratio (MMR) refers to the number of women who die as a result of complications of pregnancy or childbearing in a given year per 100,000 live births in that year.
